This application has been by far and away the most successful during this PET project – perhaps because it’s so immediate and visual. But after a few lessons with sts following the teacher’s instructions and postign up favourite videos/photos saved from Google on where they live etc…I wonder what we can exploit it for next.
Need to think about the normal kinds of activities that we do in the ESOL classroom and see if they will *translate*.
E3 16-19 sts had their second Timblr session yesterday and was very successful… sts really enjoed posting their favourite you tube vids and looking at others. One thing I noticed though was that it seemed to turn into solely a Youtube session, so how else Tumblr can be used needs to be thought about. Have given them a tumblr task to do during the half-term break as well.
